Agilitas Private Equity LLP (“Agilitas”), the pan-European mid-market private equity firm, today announces the closing of the buy-out of Tietoevry Tech Services (“the Company”), a division of Tietoevry, and a leading IT service provider in the Nordic region. This follows the announcement regarding Agilitas’s agreement to back the buy-out of the business on 24 March 2025.
Today, Tietoevry Tech Services also unveils its forthcoming brand name, Vivicta, which marks the start of an exciting new chapter as a standalone company. A formal announcement regarding the Company’s new branding will be made in due course.
With over fifty years of experience serving Nordic and global customers, Tietoevry Tech Services is a provider of mission-critical IT services in cloud, data, applications and infrastructure in Finland, Sweden and Norway. The Company serves as a comprehensive, full-stack provider of IT solutions, delivering end-to-end IT transformation services ranging from data and cloud services, application development, cybersecurity, automation, IT infrastructure, and managed services.
Tietoevry Tech Services is one of the few dedicated IT service providers able to combine the professionalism of a global player with the reliability and local expertise required to serve public institutions and private companies in regulated industries. The Company works with a variety of customers in multiple sectors, including financial institutions, energy and governmental organisations where reliability, compliance, and a local presence providing a greater level of data security, are critical. Agilitas is working closely with the Company’s management team to build on its strong fundamentals – such as its well-invested asset base with data centres across the Nordic region – and establish a standalone business under the new brand Vivicta. CEO Satu Kiiskinen will continue to lead the Company with the backing of Agilitas and accelerate the Company’s growth of cloud-based data and applications, optimising and enhancing its mission-critical IT solutions. The Company will continue to invest significantly in automation and artificial intelligence to further develop its customer offering.
